Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our HR team. As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and ensuring a positive employee experience. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and benefits administration, you will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing. Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they are equipped to integrate seamlessly into the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Proactively resolve employee relations issues and foster a positive work culture.
  • Performance Management: Support performance appraisal processes and performance improvement plans. Collaborate with managers to provide guidance on setting performance goals and ensuring fair evaluations.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations. Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with relevant laws and effectively communicated to employees.
  • Training and Development: Identify employee training needs and coordinate training programs. Support professional development initiatives to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
  • HR Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, including personnel files, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Generate HR reports as needed for management and compliance purposes.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and foster a positive work environment. Organize employee events and activities to promote team building and camaraderie.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve employee issues effectively.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
